Here in Niigata.

Araragi's first restaurant opened close to Niigata Station in 1988. It's new history has started in Higashibori-dori, Furumachi, Niigata.
What we would like to create are dishes that make people happy as mom's home cooking. We treasure every encounter with people, ingredients and opportunities.
In order to develop ourselves and pass the heritage to the next generation, Araragi never ceases to proceed.

Started learning at Tsuji Culinary
Institute at the age of 20.
Started working at Kyoto Kikunoi
at the age of 23.
Succeeded to Araragi
at the age of 28.
